Justin Bell is a feature film, TV, and branded entertainment producer based in Los Angeles.

Justin Bell is an award-winning creative producer and line producer in feature films, television, and branded entertainment. He’s the CEO of Justin Bell Productions LLC – a full-service production company based in Los Angeles – and a member of the Producers Guild of America.

Currently, Bell is an executive producer on For When You Get Lost, a female-driven road trip movie about family, death, and beer, which will premiere at the 2023 Austin Film Festival. He’s also in post-production on Dream Big, a dramatic feature film.

In commercials, Justin’s recent projects include: Deloitte, Grey Goose Vodka, Samsung, Old Spice featuring comedian Ronny Chieng, and two Playstation game commercials featuring Jensen Ackles and Danny Trejo. Bell’s “Why Ever You Travel” commercial for Ontario International Airport has garnered several platinum and gold advertising awards in 2023, including The Telly Awards, NYX Awards, Viddy Awards, and MarCom Awards.. His Bose commercial starring musician Charlie Puth won multiple gold awards at the 2023 American Advertising Awards. Full list of commercial clients can be found here.

Bell has produced notable indie feature films, including the low-fi superhero movie The Hyperions (2022, Saban Films/Daily Wire) starring Cary Elwes, the romantic comedy Elsa & Fred (2015, Millennium Ent.) with Academy Award-winners Shirley MacLaine and Christopher Plummer, writer/director Andrew Hyatt’s Mary of Nazareth film Full of Grace (2015, Cinedigm), and Steven J. Kung’s Asian American drama A Leading Man (2014, Mance Media).

In television, Justin produced the horror-comedy “Summoned” for Disney/Hulu/FX, and he’s an executive producer/showrunner on “Darkroom”, a 14-episode scripted series about young people navigating the darkness of their faith. As an associate producer, he creatively produced two NBC TV movies, “Field of Vision” and “Game Time” – both sponsored by P&G and Walmart – an experience that launched Justin into producing original content for global brands.

Bell is the former Director of Development & Production for Academy Award-winning producer Edward Saxon (“The Silence of the Lambs”). He helped Mr. Saxon produce two major motion pictures, Away We Go (2009) at Focus Features, directed by Sam Mendes, and Our Family Wedding (2010) at Fox Searchlight, starring America Ferrera and Forest Whitaker. He’s also worked in creative development at Imagine Entertainment and Sony Pictures Animation.

A graduate of the Peter Stark Producing Program at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts (MFA), Justin’s thesis project, That Evening Sun (2009, Freestyle Releasing) was made into a critically acclaimed indie feature film (NY Times Critics Pick, two Independent Spirit Awards nominations), and produced by his friends Laura D. Smith and Terence Berry, directed by Scott Teams. While in film school, Bell received the USC Special Project Grant, and was voted Most Outstanding Filmmaker by his peers.

Justin earned a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Fuller Theological Seminary, and is a graduate of Wheaton College (B.A.) in Illinois. He’s the former Director of the Act One Producing & Entertainment Executive Program, and has taught film courses at Pepperdine University, Azusa Pacific University, and BIOLA University.
